RBC also looked to expand its offerings with a new initiative—the Racebrook Center for Advanced Learning (RCAL). The objective was to create a cohesive and modern brand image that would unify the existing consulting services while distinctly positioning RCAL as a cutting-edge educational service.

  • Developing the Core Brand:

    Racebrook Consulting needed a brand identity to reflect its evolving services and forward-thinking approach. I needed to create a recognizable, innovative brand that blended a modern aesthetic with the warm, inviting energy of the consultants.

    Introducing a New Initiative:

    RCAL required its own identity, one that would align with Racebrook Consulting’s core values yet stand out as an innovative leader in professional development. The RCAL brand needed to integrate seamlessly with the existing RBC brand, while maintaining a unique presence of its own.

    Maintaining Consistency Across Multiple Channels:

    The primary RBC brand, along with the secondary RCAL brand, needed to form an identity that was consistent across all platforms, including digital, print, and event materials, ensuring a unified brand experience.

  • I. The Racebrook Consulting Brand

    Brand Development

    • I began by creating Racebrook Consulting’s visual identity, focusing on a contemporary, professional design that would stand out from other consulting firms. This included designing the logo, selecting a modern color palette, and choosing typography. I designed a flower-like logo for RBC to represent growth and enlightenment, pink and peach hues to match the owner's creative aesthetic and stand out from the crowd, and typography styles that conveyed both professionalism and warmth.

    Brand Guidelines

    • To ensure consistency across all touch points, I developed comprehensive brand guidelines. These guidelines covered logo usage, color schemes, typography, and tone of voice, providing a clear framework for all future communications and materials.

    II. Developing the Racebrook Center for Advanced Learning (RCAL)

    Distinct Yet Connected Identity

    • For RCAL, I created a distinct brand identity that reflects its focus on inspiring, innovative, and transformative learning experiences. The logo design uses a modified version of the RBC flower-like logo with a complementary color palette of warm orange tones to convey a welcoming yet professional atmosphere.

    • While RCAL has its own unique identity, I ensured that its branding complimented Racebrook Consulting’s new brand guidelines to create a unified presence. This included using complementary color palettes, similar typography, and shared design elements to create a sense of cohesion between the two entities.

    • The new brand identities for both Racebrook Consulting and RCAL were applied consistently across all materials. This included developing the company’s website, developing marketing collateral such as brochures, business cards, and digital assets, and designing promotional merchandise.

    Event Branding

    • For the launch of RCAL, I designed a suite of event materials including invitations, gift bags, and presentation slides, all of which adhered to the new branding. This ensured that the launch event was not only impactful but also a clear extension of Racebrook Consulting’s professional image.
